I am so happy I found Destination Om.  I was looking to get a new mala for my practice as the one I had was always stiff to use, but I hemmed and hawed.  Then my mala broke.  Lapis lazuli beads everywhere.  I contacted Destination Om to order a new mala and to see if they could restring my broken mala.  Catherine was not sure if their cords would fit through the holes in the beads.  I ordered one of their handsome rosewood malas, which I love, and sent the broken one for restringing.  Luckily their cords worked.  The repaired mala is no longer stiff to use.  Their nylon cord really made a difference.  I now have two wonderful malas for my practice.  And last but not least, Catherine was a delight to work with.  Thank you so much!

I wanted to share with you what a very powerful and very unique mala you have assembled.  All of the aspects of it are in keeping with "Its intent" - and very auspicious events and things have been unfolding as "It" awakens.  I will strongly suggest that this configuration of mala is not for the curious or "someone who is dabbling."  It, as well as the practice which is being pursued, all requires a great deal of respect, humility, honored and continuing practice as well as focused meditation.  

Not that you need this, but to the best of my poor abilities, you have my experiences to validate the authenticity and claims of your materials on your website.

In receipt of the precious mala. Worth it to spend the extra and get it here quickly. I opened the package and wept for joy as I held the seeds for the first time. It was as if meeting a primordial friend, one who had been with me intangibly for ages, and just now in this incarnation, is with me in a more tangible way.

I have a sanskrit prayer used as a pilgrim puts on the seeds and takes them off.  I had thought there would be knots between each seed, but I trust you, and feel as though providence lead me to the one most qualified to be the agent for getting this into my hands.

I always find the best rosary (mala) for Buddhist, but in Tibetan Buddhism we need different rosary when we practice the different methods. So I find  “ DESTINATION OM ”, the mala they made can use for all methods.  In Taiwan we call it dragon eye bodhi or triangle bodhi. I am also a buddhist, in fact.

I am currently taking care of a stupa conserving relics of 7th Changchia Hutuktu, a great Guru of  Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. In 1957, he reached nirvana and was cremated in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan.  He is also the Buddhist Master of all emperors in Qing Dynasty. Moreover, he is not only one of the Four Dharma Kings in Gelugpa, but also the most prestigious Dharma Kings in Gelugpa and the most prestigious Dharma King in Inner Mongolia (please read my blog for more information).

The amazing wrist mala arrived safely today (from Bodhgaya, India) and I am very very happy with it. It is a beautiful piece of work and yes I found the 6 seeds in their little yellow paper pouch.  It was even a bit big for me which was good and the details of the custom order were just as they should be.

I opened the package with one of my best friends on the phone, as he lives in B.C. and I am in Alberta. He was very moved by my sharing the opening with him and it brought him much peace and relief to be part of all our connected actions.

I had been looking for a lotus seed mala for a while but I hadn´t found one with the proper design. I was looking for a tool with mystical origin, made by people who really know what they are doing and have a certain consciousness. The Energy they put into their work is because it is something that I will be using for my practice on a daily basis, I didn't just want threaded beads like a souvenir necklace.

After reading Gaurang´s story of where he learned to make the malas, and how he collects his supplies all over the world following the local traditions, and how he is into spiritual practices, it made me realize that I had found a place and an artist that could bring a real mala to life.

I got in touch with them and had almost immediate response, even though Gaurang was on his pilgrimage, Catherine was of great service. The purchase was made and on the tenth day the package with the three malas I ordered was received on my front door.

When I opened the package I was stunned, the product completely surpassed my expectations, they were far better than in the pictures (obviously). These malas really have a meaning and each one has unique characteristics according to the materials used in their crafting.

I can tell you that I am a very satisfied costumer regarding quality, variety, price, time of delivery and service (so is my wife since one was for her). I highly recommend Destination Om to anyone, anywhere, who is thinking of getting one of these unique pieces and in the future I would love to get some more myself. Thanks for everything.

One of my main hopes for the show was to find a mala to help me to focus on my mantra. The effect has been transformative, having a physical focus has helped me enormously. I feel more focussed and purposeful when reciting my mantra.

So often I've found malas being sold elsewhere that are made with inferior grade materials and constructed poorly or even strung with damaged beads; but your products are exceptional. The quality of the beads etc. and your meticulous workmanship make them a joy to use.

The slip knot you've incorporated into the wrist mala design is ingenious and makes it easy for me to slip the mala on and off when I'm carrying it during the day. It's a simple and elegant addition that I've found very practical for meditation, allowing me to adjust the space between the beads myself.

I find the malas you've made for me to be soothing and very comforting to use. Just holding one of them helps me to center myself and allows me to focus on what's truly important. :) My humble thanks.

I just received my 3rd Mala from Brian and his wonderful team here at Destination Om. Once again the care and craftsmanship has far exceeded any expectations I had. They're not just wonderful, well made items here, but built with care, and extensive spiritual understanding. Brian has become my "portal" to the east. I contact him with ideas, not fully sure of what to make my Mala out of, or what items I need to order next to further my practice. Hey Brian,
I just wanted to thank you for the wrist mala you made for me. I think it's great and I especially like the way you construct your slip knots. I have other wrist malas of which some are the stretchy kind and others with a pull method but I don't really like the way they fit.
I found your mala to fit perfectly comfortable.
